Month of the living dead
Monthly update No.2
Short Update.
Stonehenge Rocks
Quick Quiz.
What is wrong with this photo, taken by Heather in Amesbury?
Read on for the answer.

Here are a few things we found out about various locations in the UK during our wegular weekends away.
Cardiff
Is full of zombies - Heather, Steve and I had to have some Brains so we didn't stand out too badly (I'm not kidding, see
http://www.sabrain.com/ ).
Is a nice cheap day trip from Bristol.
Museum has more impressionist paintings then any museum outside Paris. (I also discovered that Steve Hall has absolutely no interest in
impressionist paintings - but he does like Brains... and cowgirls.)
Every Welsh Regiment has a goat as a mascot (and, presumably, for those long nights at sea).
Salisbury
That when talking about the Magna Carta you don't say the Magna Carta, you just say Magna Carta because it is in latin and there is no word for 'the' in latin.
That little old ladies that stand next to the Magna Carta in Salisbury Cathedral and insist on the above should get over it.
Used to be a few miles further north, in a place called Old Sarum, which is cool and spooky when it is foggy (see photos).
Cathedral was used as a key landmark by Nazi bombers in WWII so they knew how to find Southampton.
That the reformation really sucked for stained glass windows.
Stonehenge
Is really, really photogenic, even on a windy, freezing cold day (see photos).
Will be even better when they get rid of the highway next to it.
Wasn't really built by the druids (yet again Spinal Tap let me down with their spin on English History).
Is not, I repeat not within walking distance of Woodhenge, which is nowhere near where the English Heritage guy says it is... dude, I know from experience (don't see the photos of Woodhenge because we never found it).
Cambridge
Is a bugger to get to from Bristol.
Students and their partners sure know how to party.
That Kings College Chapel WAS built by the druids. Well... that's more plausible than the story punt guides occasionally give, that the chapel used to be underground and was only recently unearthed.
And the answer to the quiz?
It's a bit hard to see, but if you look carefully, you can see that the dog driving the car is not wearing a seatbelt.
Bunch of savages in this town.
Don't forget to check out the latest photos.

We're off to Nice next week, so the next update will be in French
(pardon, en Francais).
