Day 1 - Bristol to London
An easy way to start our trip, with the well worn coach path between Bristol and London. I reckon we've probably done this route 20 times or more, and the M4 is still really boring, apart from the white Shetland Ponies on the left-hand-side about two-thirds of the way along. They are way cool.
Tomorrow, let's see if we can find our way at least some of the way to Barcelona, via Paris.
1st casualty of the trip: I don't think my 2005 Glastonbury T-shirt is going to make the distance, as it is already a bit, well a lot, whiffy and will probably only get worse. It's a good thing that "Cheers Drive" has stepped in to save the day.
1st photo of the trip is this shot of the lift information at Earl's Court tube station, featuring some excellent representations of gas vesicles. I miss Bristol already.
