Head for the Exeter

A few weekends back we visited Exeter. It's only an hour from Bristol, but we hadn't managed to get there (apart from the train station on the way to/from the south coast), so when we were invited to visit by Hannah and Andrew how could we say no?

Luckily we couldn't (say no that is) and ended up having a fun weekend wandering the streets and parks and eating the food of Exeter. Exeter is best known for its massive Cathedral and city wall, but I'll remember it best for Andrew's surprise that my dad is THE Greg Holland. Ha!

I look forward to the day when I am THE Daryl Holland, but for now I guess I'll have to be satisfied with being THE Greg Holland's son - at least in meteorology circles.

Comments:
Hi Guys!

Hope all is well and good in the mother land.

I have to get my act together and write you an email - hope you got my "generic emails" while I was away on my latest venture... mmmm bet you can guess it was USA & Canada again?! (that was my 6th time) I vow not to go there again until I have visited another country "I PROMISE" :-) ... in saying that does Australia count?

Take care & chat soon.
Tamara :-)

So, who is Andrew, that he's heard of THE Greg Holland (that's the one with the already REALLY BIG head.

Andrew is a meteorologist. With the travel dad does, I'd be surprised if they hadn't all met him at some point.
