A day at the beach - Bristol style
It may look a bit different to Australia, but it's still the beach. And if you live in Bristol, THE place to go to the beach is Weston-super-Mare. Unfortunately the tide was out when we arrived (see photo), but we were still able to walk along the pier, have some excellent fish and chips, see the donkeys and ride on a little train.
Now, donkeys on the beach doesn't really make sense to me, but it's possible that I'm still quite upset that they are only for children to ride on.
Weatherwise, things are looking up here - went outside in a t-shirt today!!
