Welcome to our blog
After pestering people with emails of our various exploits over the past year or so, we have decided to go with a more passive and technologically advanced form of pestering... a blog (for those not familiar with blogs, a blog is short for a "web log", and is basically a web site that anyone can produce, and write whatever they want, hooray). Why do this? Basically it's so we can write stuff whenever we feel like it, and not feel like people might get sick of say, 12 emails in 12 days. Everyone's doing it these days (although I have been informed that blogging is like, so 2003. Podcasting is the now and video podcasting is the wave of the future).
Be sure to bookmark our site and check it occasionally: with anticipation high, palms sweating, you click on the "Daryl & Heather Online" bookmark and lo and behold, Daryl has written about some stupid event he's sucked himself into, and Heather has put up her new favourite recipe, licorice roast duck with almonds and chocolate.
If you don't see any update, try clicking on the reload button just in case.
Or, if you are really clever, you could add the RSS feed of our site to your other feeds, or even to your email client (thanks Pak for that juicy meatball). If you don't know what an RSS feed is, but you have Firefox, just click on the little orange 'radar' icon on the right hand side of the address bar and you are well on your way. For the more experienced, the RSS feed is: http://darylandheather.blogspot.com/atom.xml
Now, what if you are dying to let us know how witty and inciteful our latest post was? Easy. At the bottom of each post it says "comments". Click on this and you can type in a comment that will become part of that post. If you don't have a blogger account, just click where it says "other" in "identity" and you can then leave a comment without logging in. Please do leave comments, as it's the only way we know if people are reading our stuff.
You will also notice that there are links on the left to older posts and to our photo page. Click on them for hours of fun.
Enjoy, and don't forget to leave comments.
P.S. Good natured abuse in the comments section will be treated as it should i.e. with a lawsuit.

You forgot to mention that you can use the RSS feed feature of blogspot. So for those familiar with receiving your emails, they still can, but only if their email client supports it tho.
p.s. I fixed my refering email.
